My voice recording is stuck at "Connecting"

If you are stuck on "Connecting" when you are attempting to record a voiceover, you will need to reach out to your IT administrator to whitelist rtmp://

Your firewall may be blocking RTMP connections completely. You will need to reach out to your firewall provider for assistance in allowing this connection.

If you still have trouble connecting, TCP port 1935 will need to be forwarded on the device you are using.

Another cause of the block could be a layer 7 application filter blocking the HTTP.Audio application.

If you are still not able to connect, please reach out to your network filter provider. They are the only ones that will be able to see what exactly is being blocked and how to whitelist it, our support team will not be able to help troubleshoot local network issues.
